The Nantahala Hiking Club will take a 3-mile moderate hike Dec. 8 on Ranger Falls Trail from Cliffside Lake on an interesting interpretive trail of historic significance. Meet in Franklin at Bi-Lo at 9:30 a.m. Call leader Gail Lehman at 524-5298 for reservations. Visitors welcome, but no pets please.
