The Nantahala Hiking Club will take a moderate-to-strenuous 6-mile hike Feb. 24 on the London Bald Trail near Apple Tree Campground. Nice views of Wayah Bald. Meet at NHC clubhouse on Carl Slagle Road at 8:30 a.m. Call leader Chris Shaw, 371-0183, for reservations. Visitors are welcome, but no pets please.
