Driving distance/directions from downtown Highlands, NC: 2.9 miles. Follow Route 106 (Dillard Road) to graveled Glen Falls Road on left, proceed to trailhead.

Hiking distance: 3 miles round trip
Description: Take the trail that bears to the right from Glen Falls trailhead and bulletin board. Be ready to rock-hop over several small streams on the way to the summit, which has a number of rocky overlooks into Blue Valley.
Footnote: Remember how to get back to your vehicle. (Avoid side trail leading to Route 106.)
